Privacy Policy — ClearDay

ClearDay is a sobriety and addiction tracking application. Protecting your personal data is a core principle of how the app is designed. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is stored, and your rights as a user.

1. Data Collected

ClearDay only stores information you voluntarily enter in the app:

• Type and name of the addiction being tracked
• Quit date
• Estimated weekly cost of the addiction
• Journal entries (text, mood, tags)
• Craving records (intensity, mood, context)
• Relapse records (date, quantity, context, mood)
• Personal motivations
• Financial reward goals
• App preferences (notifications, biometric authentication)

2. Data Storage

All your data is stored exclusively on your device, in a local SQLite database. ClearDay has no external servers, no cloud storage, and no user accounts. Your data never leaves your device.

3. Data Sharing

ClearDay does not share, sell, or transmit any personal data to third parties for advertising or any other purpose.

4. Third-Party Services

RevenueCat — manages in-app purchase verification. RevenueCat processes a limited amount of technical data (anonymous device identifier, purchase status) to verify your subscription. No health data or personal content is shared with RevenueCat. See their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

App Stores — purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. Analytics

ClearDay does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry tools. No Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent service is integrated.

6. Biometric Authentication

If you enable biometric lock (Face ID or fingerprint), authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (iOS or Android). ClearDay does not collect, access, or store any biometric data.

7. Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No data is transmitted to an external server to send notifications.

8. Security

Your data is protected by your device's native encryption and app sandboxing. Biometric authentication provides an additional layer of protection. No network transmission means no exposure to server-side breaches.

9. Deleting Your Data

You can delete any addiction and all associated data directly from the app's settings. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data from your device.

10. Minors

ClearDay is not specifically designed for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this policy will be reflected in the date shown at the top of this page and made available within the app.
